Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026
VelocityScale ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to velocityscale.com.au and to the services we provide to our clients. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What information we collect
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business functions. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
Information you give us directly
- Your name, email address, phone number and business name when you contact us by email, phone, or social media direct message
- Details about your business, goals and current marketing when you enquire about or engage our services
- Billing and payment details necessary to invoice you (we do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by third-party providers)
- Content, images, brand assets and account access you provide so we can deliver our services
Information collected automatically
- Standard technical information logged when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view. This is collected by our hosting and security provider for performance, reliability and security purposes.
- Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which may log your IP address. See Google's privacy policy for details.
We do not run advertising or tracking cookies on this website. We do not use analytics or remarketing pixels on velocityscale.com.au, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone — ever.
Information we handle on behalf of clients
When managing advertising accounts, social media accounts or campaigns for a client, we may have access to data held within those platforms — for example audience insights, message enquiries or leads generated by campaigns. We access this only to perform the services agreed with that client, and the client remains responsible for that data under their own privacy obligations.
Why we collect and use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and provide you with a quote or proposal
- To deliver, manage and improve the services you have engaged us for
- To communicate with you about your project, including updates, reporting and scheduling
- To issue invoices and manage payments
- To keep records required for tax, accounting and legal compliance
- To maintain the security, performance and integrity of our website and systems
We will not use your personal information for a purpose unrelated to the one it was collected for unless you would reasonably expect it, you have consented, or we are required or authorised by law.
Marketing communications
If you become a client or expressly opt in, we may occasionally send you updates about our services. Every marketing message we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and we will act on your request promptly. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can opt out at any time by replying to any message or emailing us directly.
Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share it with trusted third parties only where necessary to run our business or deliver our services:
- Hosting and website security — Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and protects this website
- Email and productivity — Microsoft 365 for business email and document storage
- Advertising and social platforms — such as Meta and Google, where we manage campaigns on your behalf
- Payment and accounting providers — to process invoices and maintain financial records
- Professional advisers — such as our accountant, where reasonably required
- Law enforcement or regulators — where we are required or authorised to do so by law
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we store and protect your information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These steps include access controls on our accounts, multi-factor authentication where available, encrypted connections (HTTPS) across our website, and limiting access to information to those who need it to do their work.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as long as we are required to keep it by law — for example, financial records must generally be retained for five years under Australian tax law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. You can also ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
To make a request, email contact@velocityscale.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period, usually within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. There is no charge for making a request, though we may charge a reasonable fee for providing access in some circumstances.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information or breached the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us first at contact@velocityscale.com.au. We take complaints seriously and will investigate and respond to you in writing.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or by calling 1300 363 992.
Third-party links
Our website and content may link to third-party sites, including Instagram, TikTok and client websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, systems, or legal obligations. The current version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated. We encourage you to review it periodically.
